The coconut for a head sensation continues, thanks PMS!
Tonight, my version of girl dinner: one enormous white vintage serving tray piled high with sourdough crackers, leftover seed crackers, olives, dates, yogurt dip I made last weekend with leeks, kale and preserved meyer lemons, eggplant garlic spread from a jar, and a few kibbeh. Bed at 8pm sharp.
Since this is a very sad and even more boring than usual post, would you like to know about my 7am aspirations? That’s when my brain functions best and I actually get things done. Tomorrow morning I hope to bake; the season has finally arrived when friends come by on Fridays to pick vegetables from the yard and I feed them little treats, what a dream. I’m hoping to make triple strawberry layered cornmeal scones— strawberry compound butter in the dough, homemade strawberry jam between the layers, and maybe some balsamic roasted strawberry pieces throughout.
